6.6.3 Continuous counting

Function:

 The counter starts counting from the start value in the counting range.

 If the counter reaches the upper counting limit value when counting up and another

count pulse in the positive direction is issued, the counter jumps to the lower counting

limit value and continues counting from there.

 If the counter reaches the lower counting limit value when counting down and another

count pulse in the negative direction is issued, the counter jumps to the upper counting

limit value and continues counting from there.

 If this function is activated, a process alarm is triggered if the value exceeds or falls

below a limit value.
