Mode 3: Traversing direction to negative end of travel range limit switch

Set C1213 = 3.

Function sequence

l As "Traversing direction to positive end of travel range limit switch", but the drive moves

towards the negative end of travel range limit switch.

l No fault indication (PO2)

Tip!

The limit switch (POS−LIM−xxx) can be used as homing switch (POS−REF−MARK) at the same time

to save initiators.

3.4.8.6 Homing modes 4 and 5

Purpose

l Simple homing in all positioning modes (C1210 = 0, 1, 2).

l The homing switch (POS−REF−MARK) will not be overtravelled. Positions to the right of the

homing switch cannot occur due to the mechanical design.

l The homing switch must be in direction of the movement.
