4.1 Archiving and restoring Compact Flash cards (CF cards)

4.1.1 Duplicate

1. The Duplicate tab serves to write the entire contents of the CF card into a temporary

directory.

2. The contents are written back to a new CF card.

3. The data in the temporary directory are deleted after having been copied.

 Note!

Data archived on the engineering PC remain stored after

»IPC Backup & Restore« has been uninstalled.

 Note!

To ensure an error-free backup and restore, only use CF cards made by the

company swissbit®.

 Note!

The CF card to which the data of the temp directory is to be copied is formatted

and made bootable. This deletes all data stored on the CF card!
