Electronic components of the communication module can be damaged or

destroyed through electrostatic discharge.

Possible consequences:

ƒ The communication module is damaged.

ƒ Fieldbus communication is not possible or faulty.

Protective measures

ƒ Discharge electrostatic charges before touching the module.
